This is the game that brought me into online geming, I played CC1 till V for over 3 years. This was also the first game with an online world wide ranking systems
and a world wide ladder competition. For the reall RTS fan this is awesome and exciting news!  I will buy it for sure and hope to find again a lot of players online to compete against!  NL_Blackdevils
 

The remake of this timeless classic has stormed the beaches and is headed to gamers Matrix Games and Strategy 3 Tactics have announced the release of Close Combat: The Longest Day, their remake of Close Combat: Invasion Normandy which offers expanded features and loads of improvements, including a full grand campaign that connects all the airborne landings and all the beach landings. Also included in this rebuild is are 60+ battles, operations and campaigns including a new enhanced Grand Campaign as well as "classic" CC5 style Grand Campaign available for download. A set of screenshots has been added in our gallery.
